About Me
My life’s path to this point has been a winding one. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, I graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and started a career in the field of actuarial science. I left the workforce for almost twelve years in order to raise my three children.
After volunteering for many years at their elementary school and working part-time as a lunch aide, I was offered a full-time job as a classroom assistant. Since then, I have worn many hats in the public education system – Computer Assistant, Secretary, Bookkeeper, Confidential Secretary, Math Teacher (after earning a master’s degree in education with teacher certification), Accounts Payable Specialist, and Accountant.
Of all these various career options, the one I enjoyed the most was bookkeeping (nothing makes me happier than seeing a zero balance when reconciling statements). You can call me a nerd, but I'll wear that badge with honor! This love, coupled with my experience in capital project accounting, has led me to build my own bookkeeping business. I want to utilize my skills to help businesses like yours develop and flourish.
Aristotle said, “Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.” Since keeping accurate records is essential to the success of any business, let my passion for bookkeeping help your business thrive. Entrusting this work to me provides more time for you to build your business and increase profits.
